Reaching out to the Mbya-Guarani community in Argentina

Education for change

Recently, we had the opportunity to reach the children of the Mbya-Guaraní ethnic group in Santa Ana Miní, Argentina with our Preschool Program.

The Mbya-Guarani live in several villages distributed in a vast region, covering regions of Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil, constituting the sea their earthly boundary. The name Mbya can be translated as “many people in one place” (Dooley, 1982).

We gave them kits to brush their teeth, taught about the proper oral care. After a very didactic explanation, each child brushed their teeth as they learned and took the complete kit to continue with their daily dental care at home.

Everything is organized and soon we will officially start the Preschool ❤
